About Us

Growing up in Hyattsville, MD in the early 80′s, we’ve seen our community go through many changes. We’ve seen many new faces and embraced new cultures daily! As we’ve matured through the years, we’ve notice the decrease of children outside playing and running around, as we did when we were younger. Like Us, most children are from immigrant families and cant afford to enroll their child/children into extracurricular activities. We were the lucky ones that we’re able to participate and we realized how much of a factor it played in our lives! Summer Programs not only kept us off the streets, but it taught us discipline and many skills that we now value in our everyday life. So we came up with a plan…Let’s Empower our youth by providing opportunities for them to attend summer programs of their choice!

The Program
Through sales from our garments, we provide sponsorship opportunities for kids to attend a summer program of their choice. Contestants must be 17 years of age or younger to participate and enrolled in public schools. In order for a child/children to qualify, all applications must be received by deadline. NO EXCEPTIONS! Sponsorships will be held annually and dates will be posted on our home page once sponsorship becomes available!*
